What is Treat Yourself Club? 

    • “Treat Yourself Club” and “TYC” are the trading names of Treat Yourself Club Ltd (we, our, us), a discount service provider for members who are employees of the NHS.
    • We are registered as a company in England and Wales (company number: 15721486).
    • These terms and conditions cover our website, newsletter, social media content, and any events we may host.
    • We do not sell any products or services, nor do we endorse in any way the businesses who are listed on our website.By offering a discount code to our members or by subscribing to a membership, you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms & conditions. If you do not agree with them, do not use this website.

When do these terms apply?

    • These terms and conditions apply when you have offered a discount code to Treat Yourself Club members or if you have subscribed for a Treat Yourself Club membership.
    • For partner businesses, this contract will come to an end once your discount code has expired or has been removed from our website, but this will not prohibit us from bringing a claim against you for any rights of action that have accrued during the term of our contractual relationship.

    • All trademarks referred to on the Treat Yourself Club website or newsletter are acknowledged as the property of their respective owners. Treat Yourself Club Ltd, its directors, or employees cannot be liable for any copyright or trademark infringements.
    • Laws governing the terms and conditions on this website shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales. These shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of all the above permissions, exclusions, licences, and conditions of use.
    • Any dispute between us relating to these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle them.

    • We reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time at our discretion and without notice.

Member Terms & Conditions

Eligibility criteria

    • You must be currently employed by the UK National Health Service in order to subscribe to a Treat Yourself Club membership. 
    • You must be willing to send us evidence of your employment with the NHS in order to verify that you currently work for the NHS. 
    • Your eligibility will be checked every 2 years. 
    • We reserve the right to remove any member found to be breaching the eligibility criteria above.

Are my transactions safe? 

    • When you pay for your membership, this transaction is securely processed through Stripe. 
    • Treat Yourself Club connects you with discount codes. When you purchase a product or service using a discount code we give you, all transactions take place outside our site and are not completed on the Treat Yourself Club website. We are not responsible for the security of these transactions. 

As a member, what are my responsibilities? 

    • Members must ensure their account information is accurate and up to date at all times. If/when your details change, please update your account as soon as possible. 
    • Treat Yourself Club members should protect the security of their username and password, and not share their account details with anyone else. 
    • You should not create multiple accounts. If you have lost your password and are unable to reset it, please contact us at members@treatyourselfclub.com and we will assist you. 
    • You should not distribute the discount codes to other people. If you are found to be doing this, your membership will be permanently revoked. 

How are you keeping the platform secure? 

    • We reserve the right to remove any user from the site, freeze their account, and revoke membership without warning if we feel there is any risk to the security of members or to our business. 
    • We reserve the right to remove any user from the site, freeze their account, and revoke membership if any user is found to be abusing the discount codes. This could be conducted without the member’s consent.

What if a discount code does not work? 

    • If a discount code does not work, please let us know at hello@treatyourselfclub.com with the subject line: “broken discount code”. If you continue your purchase without the discount code, you have authorised this transaction at the full amount and we have no responsibility to ensure you receive a refund on the discounted amount. It is your responsibility to liaise with the company and any refund is at their discretion.

What does listing an offer involve?

    • We have reached out to you and asked you to offer a discount code or offer to Treat Yourself Club members, or you have contacted us and requested to have a discount code listed. 
    • If you meet our eligibility criteria (see section 4), we will list your discount code on our website and/or newsletter. 
    • You will supply us with 1-3 photos representing your brand, any conditions of the discount code, expiry date, and a short blurb about your brand. We will not alter the content of your offer and publish it exactly as you have provided it to us. You are responsible for the wording and content of your offers. 
    • We reserve the right to, occasionally and at our discretion, use the content you have provided (point 2c) to advertise your business and our business on our website, newsletter, and social media. We are under no obligation to do this, and we may do this without notice to you. Your acceptance of these terms and conditions demonstrates your consent to us doing so. 
    • You have the right to add, amend, or withdraw your offer at any time by writing to business@treatyourselfclub.com. We will respond to this request within 48 hours.
    • After your discount code is listed, we are under no further obligations to you and we may remove your offer(s) at any time.
    • Treat Yourself Club provides members with a discount code for your business, but all transactions that take place between you and the customer are done through external sites. Therefore, you are responsible for the security of these transactions for any purchases made by our members.
    • Your products and services, and any offers relating to them, remain your responsibility. By listing your offers, we are not accepting any responsibility for them.
    • Treat Yourself Club endeavours to ensure the service it provides is free from defects, though it is not responsible or liable for any consequential errors or omissions within the service.

Eligibility criteria

    • Your offer must be more advantageous than your usual pricing and other discounts offered to the general public. 
    • Your products and services must not relate to: financial services, insurance products, gambling, smoking, illicit drugs, or anything else that could harm our members. 
    • Your offer must not be illegal and your products and services must comply with all relevant laws and regulations. We are not responsible if you, your products, your services and/or your offers breach any laws or regulations and we are under no obligations to perform any due diligence before listing your offers. 
    • Your offers, products, or services must not contain anything that could harm our reputation or brand. 
    • We reserve all rights to reject any proposed business partnerships and we are not obliged to give a reason.
    • Your offer must have a clear link to your business website and a discount code. It must be clearly worded, unambiguous, and contain any relevant conditions that qualify. 
    • Your discount code must be for products and services available in the UK. 

Use of our logos

    • You cannot use any of our logos without our written consent.
    • We are under no obligation to give you consent to use our logos, and this can be withdrawn by us at any time without any prior notice.

What happens when my discount code expires?

    • It is your responsibility to tell us about the expiry of the discount code before it is listed.
    • We will remove your discount code from the site on 23:59 of the day it is due to expire. 
    • We are under no obligation to contact you when your offer expires.
    • It is your responsibility to inform us if you would like to add a new offer or renew the existing code. 
    • You can add a new offer or renew the existing listing by emailing us at business@treatyourselfclub.com.

What happens if you receive complaints about our offers from your members? 

    • When a member uses a discount code to purchase your products and services, the contract is exclusively between you and the member. We are not a part of this contract and have no liability or responsibility.. 
    • We will not be involved in any dispute between a member and your products, services, or offers.
    • If we receive a complaint from a member about your offer, product, or service, we will ask them to contact your business directly but are not under any obligation to forward the complaint to you. 
    • If we are aware of a technical error with your discount code, we will use reasonable efforts to inform you of this. If this cannot be resolved, we reserve the right to remove the offer without obligation to inform you and we are not liable for any loss this causes.
